Characteristics of Internet Addiction/Pathological Internet Use in U.S. University Students: A Qualitative-Method Investigation.
In the study of U.S. college students, excessive internet use was found to be associated with sleep deprivation, academic under-achievement, poor exercise habits, decreased face-to-face interactions, depression, and decreased concentration.
