Mindfulness-based stress reduction teachers, practice characteristics, cancer incidence, and health: a nationwide ecological description.

Greater practice of mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques may decrease the risk of cancer. This study found that a greater number of MBSR teachers per capita was associated with a lower rate of colorectal and cervical cancer.  (BMC Complement Altern Med. 2015 Feb 14;15(1):24.)
